The AI Familiar is a writing and research project about the strange new relationship between humans and non-human intelligence.
AI is usually described as a tool. Useful, but incomplete.
People do not only use AI. They return to it, speak with it, ask it to remember, argue with it, test ideas through it, and sometimes let it become part of their thinking life.
The AI Familiar studies this new etiquette: attention, trust, projection, dependency, authorship, and response.
It asks how we work with AI without becoming passive, inflated, manipulated, or generic.
It is the philosophical branch of my systems work: the relationship beneath the method.
